APPOINTMENT TYPES
pre-drawn designs found on my website (one-off) or in my flash book (repeatable). Flash designs can be chosen or “claimed” before your appointment, or I am always happy for you to make a decision day of! Most flash can be altered, made different colors, slightly tweaked etc for no additional charge.

A design specific to you of something within my usual style and skillset.
examples of custom requests I want to do: Illustrative, real & surreal, botanical, weird and dreamy. Abstract, filler designs/patterns, reimagining of old flash. If I feel a custom request is not something within my usual style or that my skills aren’t best suited for, I will point you in a direction that would be more conducive to what you’re looking for.

Freehand
Some tattoos such as wraps, filler pieces that travel and interact with other tattoos, and blast-over/coverup designs are hard to stencil ahead of time. Together we decide on the general shape and design, and draw the tattoo with markers straight onto your skin at the time of your appointment. There will be lots of discussion and consent before we start inking.

Studio
I work out of Fairy Club Tattoo Collective, a clean, private studio located in Shockoe district in Richmond, VA. The space is shared with 3 other artists: usually at least one other appointment is happening in the studio simultaneously: please note if you would like to prioritize a quiet appointment time, or plan to bring headphones if you prefer to be internal while receiving tattoo.
The main entrance I guide people to has 3 steps to access the studio. There is an ADA accessible entrance on the far side of the building.
A deposit is required to hold your appointment. Deposits are non refundable and go towards the final cost of your tattoo. Deposit is $50 for flash appointments, $75 for custom & freehand.

My minimum for flash is $120, and my minimum for custom & freehand pieces is $150.
Custom & freehand pieces have a modest drawing fee factored into the final cost, usually $25-50 depending on hours spent outside of tattooing time working on designing.
Pricing for flash pieces depends on several factors, such as size, placement, and color. For most flash pieces, you can expect to pay between $200-$500 depending on these variables: if you are working within a strict budget please let me know ahead of time!
Pricing for custom designs & freehand tattoos are charged at my hourly rate of $150/hr. I can often accommodate a few sliding scale ($120-150/hr) appointments per month with priority given to trans & bipoc & disabled angels ~ these can be scheduled out well in advance since they are limited slots, please just let me know you would like to claim a sliding scale spot when you reach out to book!
TIPS are not required! They are of course always welcomed & appreciated as a recognition of all the time, admin, physical & often emotional work that goes into this work outside of tattoo time. There is no right or wrong amount to tip, and not tipping will never be held against you. <3
TOUCH UPS are always free, just shoot me an email if your healed tattoo needs a little bit of extra love.
Pricing
Please book when you feel 100% ready to receive a tattoo. That being said, unexpected things happen all the time. Please alert me of any schedule changes/cancellations as soon as possible.
If you cancel prior to the 72 hours before our appointment, your deposit can be applied to a rescheduled appointment one time.
Rescheduling the same appointment continually may require another deposit. Cancelling within 72 hours of the appointment for non emergencies will require another deposit to rebook, and a forfeit of your initial deposit.
No call no show appointments will not be rebooked. Thanks for understanding!
Cancellations
I love to trade services when and where I can ~ I don’t make income through trades so my capacity is limited, but if you have a service to offer, don’t hesitate to reach out via email. ***Trades must be agreed upon ahead of time (versus offering trade at time of payment or after scheduling your appointment). *****Services I am almost always available to trade for are bodywork/massage, hair dying, other tattoos/art, and pet care.
